Flaked Wheat (BLM) (Gladfield)
Flaked Wheat is traditionally cleaned wheat, conditioned by adding water, which is steamed to deactivate the enzymes contained within the wheat kernel and rolled into flat flakes under heavy rollers.
Rolled wheat adds body, mouthfeel, creaminess, haze, and subtle flavour to a variety of beer styles such as Belgian witbiers, NEIPAs, and stouts. It can be added directly to the mash.
